Believer

In my opinion, the most important question to be answered in this life is: “What Will You Do With Jesus”? WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS is a beautiful song I heard almost 30 years ago while listening to the radio.  It was sung by a choir.  The melody was beautiful and the haunting words simply arrested me. In those days I used to keep a tape recorder (remember those) handy in case I heard a song I liked on radio and I would immediately rush to hit the record button.  The station I listened to did not provide any detail o who sang the song.  It took some doing but I located the composer and author info and made a promise to myself that if I ever got the chance to professionally record, that song would be on my CD.

The words are so profound.  I feel that even though 2000+ years have passed, people are still putting Jesus on trial, and yet all The Lord does is invite us to come to him.  One day every person will come to him but in the meantime, “what will we do with Jesus”.

And so now here it is!  From the CD “Stay With Me” by Angela Chan

Lyrics from the song:

  1. Jesus is standing in Pilate’s hall,
    Friendless, forsaken, betrayed by all;
    Listen Do You Hear His Pleading Call
    What will you do with Jesus?
    What will you do with Jesus?
    Neutral you cannot be;
    Someday your heart will be asking,
    “What will He do with me?”
  2. Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
    look full in his wonderful face
    And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
    In the light of His glory and Grace
  3. Jesus is standing on trial still,
    You can be false to Him if you will,
    You can be faithful through good or ill:
    What will you do with Jesus?
  4. What will you do with Jesus?
    What will you do with Jesus?
    Neutral you cannot be;
    Someday your heart will be asking,
    “What will He do with me?”
